RIDE-CT – Classic Cars Celebrating Classic Cars in Connecticut
HARWINTON, CT – The number of car shows across Connecticut keeps growing. The addition today of a few shows to RIDE-CT’s 2024 CT Car Show Calendar brings a loose tabulation of the total to 328 between March and November, although saying “more than 325” is probably safer.
The total doesn’t include weekly or monthly car cruises or wake-up events such as “Cars & Coffee.”
The busiest month for car shows in 2024 will likely end up being June, which recorded 63 shows, with May in second place with 51 shows. August is also a strong performer with 49 scheduled to be held by month’s end. That number could still rise.
Bookending the calendar are March with one show held and November with two planned. The popularity of car shows in recent years has spurred more and more organizations to jump into the exhaust-fumed fray, and the growth of shows no signs of braking.
So, if you haven’t done so recently, check out the calendar to find what shows are coming up in your area of the state. RIDE-CT has already attended 30 shows this year and plans to visit maybe two more this weekend.
