Check out videos of last year’s car shows on RIDE-CT’s YouTube channel.
This story is targeted at car show organizers in Connecticut who may still be mulling over what date to pick for a show. Everyone else is encouraged to read it as well, but it’s the car show organizers who need to pay attention.
Simply put, the car show calendar is quickly filling up. Slots are getting taken. There were roughly 350 shows across the state in 2024 – and that doesn’t include regular cruises or cars and coffee events – and more than 60 shows have already been scheduled for this year between April 5 and Oct. 19.

A few dates are already packed with car shows. For instance, if you’re picking a date, you may want to avoid April 6, May 18, June 1 and Oct. 12. Each have four or more shows already planned:
On April 6, there are shows set in Bethel, Danbury, New Britain and Stafford Springs.
On May 18, there will be shows in Berlin, Middlefield, New Britain, Stafford Springs and Stratford.
On June 1, shows are scheduled in Berlin, Greenwich, Plantsville and Waterford.
On Oct. 12, there are shows in Farmington, Litchfield, Plantsville and Seymour.
Three other dates already have three shows on the calendar. The 2025 Car Show Calendar has the full list of shows, with shows being added almost daily, so check it out.

The busiest day in 2024, as best as RIDE-CT can determine, was Sept. 15 with 14 shows spread across Connecticut. Sept. 10 and Oct. 6 had 10 shows apiece. One day had nine shows, while two days had eight shows and eight days had seven shows.
The length of the car show season is likely to expand and some days will certainly become even more packed.
Talk about an impressive schedule! If you have a car show planned for 2025, make sure RIDE-CT lists it. Email: budw@ride-ct.com. And please help raise the visibility of all car shows by sharing this post with ever classic car owner that you know.
