LAKEVILLE, CT – Lime Rock Park continues to find new ways to expand its facilities and put existing ones to greater use. New for 2025 is “Kart the Park,” a hands-on driving experience that will enable adults and kids (ages 8 through 12) to operate go-karts on racetrack’s half-mile autocross course.
A total of 18 sessions are planned between April 23 and Sept. 20. Using CRG Centurion gas-powered go-carts supplied by Housatonic Racing Development, Kart the Park will offer Adult (13 and older) and Junior classes. The maximum speed for adults is 50 miles per hour, while the top end for kids is 25 miles per hour on a truncated track.

The per session price is $45 and each session lasts eight minutes. There will be a minimum of eight racers in the junior class and 14 for the adult class.
Helmets and head socks are mandatory and will be provided for those who don’t have them. Having a reservation is suggested, and all drivers must sign a waiver. Each go-kart is equipped with seat belts, roll bar and adjustable seats and pedals.
