Gallery: New England Auto Museum Summertime Car Show – August 9, 2025

BRISTOL, CT – Always a good turnout every year for the New England Auto Museum Summertime Car Show in downtown, and this year was no exception. RIDE-CT ran into several owners whose cars have been profiled either on the website or in a My Ride column in Hearst’s newspapers across the state. It was nice catching up with them.

Tony Garcia of Hartford reported that his red and black 1957 Dodge Coronet has received some new, sportier rims since May, while Matt Strus of Bristol reported that he’s replaced his 1986 TVR 280i with a maroon Triumph TR7. Both the Coronet and the TR7 appear in the gallery below.

Mike Peters of Burlington brought his 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo (shown at top) that was in a freak accident two years ago. It had an eight-track tape in the dash unit and a case filled with eight-tracks on the rear seat (shown at the bottom).
