Gallery: Torrington Area Model Railroaders – Nov. 23, 2025

TORRINGTON, CT – Given their miniature size, close examination was required to identify the makes, models and years of the many classic car and truck models that provided flavor to the train layouts at the Torrington Area Model Railroaders open house. The two-day event was staged this weekend at the organization’s clubhouse.

If a visitor looked closely, it was possible to spot vintage Ford Mustang, Oldsmobile 442, Dodge Charger, Plymouth Barracuda, AMC Gremlin and Chevrolet Impala models as well as memorable vehicles from the movies “Ghostbusters” and “The Blues Brothers” and the television shows “The Partridge Family” and “Emergency.”
