2022 Railroad Museum of New England Car Show

Saturday May Be Busiest Day of Car Show Season

HARWINTON, CT – Saturday is shaping up to be the busiest day of the entire car show season. With a flyer for another show popping up on social media this morning, RIDE-CT’s 2025 CT Car Show Calendar now has 13 shows listed for June 21st.

With a baker’s dozen of possibilities, it’s a sure bet that classic cars and trucks will be out in force across Connecticut. The number of shows is more than on any other day between early April and the end of October. That’s according to the latest tabulation by RIDE-CT.

Shows are planned from Avon to Bethel, Stafford Springs to Stamford, and many places in-between. Another four shows are scheduled for Sunday.

Two shows set for Saturday have been rescheduled from other dates due to rain. There’s the third annual Memorial United Methodist Church Car Show in Avon. Also, the American Classic & Muscle Car Show / Stock the Pantry Event in Waterbury, which has been twice postponed.

After an absence of two years, the Railroad Museum of New England/Naugatuck Railroad is back with a show alongside the tracks in Thomaston.
