Fake Traffic Signs Get Removed In Boulder, CO

BOULDER, CO – Instead of just griping about the horrible road habits of drivers, someone in the Boulder area did something about it in the past week or so by installing 14 explicit but fake traffic safety signs around town.

Colorado Public Radio reports the illegal signs, which contained messages such as “SLOW THE F___ DOWN” and “DON”T KILL ANY KIDS TODAY,” were taken down the day after they were reported.

The Boulder Police Department is investigating.

“We don’t right now have any information about who put them up,” police spokesperson Dionne Waugh told CPR. “We do know that they’re very professionally designed signs. They’re very large. They’re very well done. So someone went to a lot of trouble to put these large signs up.”

CPR’s story is posted here.
