RIDE-CT – Classic Cars Celebrating Classic Cars in Connecticut
NEWPORT, RI – The application window for the 2024 Audrain Newport Concours d’Elegance has now opened. The deadline is Feb. 23, 2024 for the event that will take place at the Breakers Mansion on Oct. 6.
Show cars and motorcycles will compete for class and special awards as well as the Best of Show award. There are 14 categories, including a “30 Under 30” class where owners must be under 30 years of age and have spent no more than $30,000 on their vehicle.
Once all the applications have been submitted, the event’s Concours Committee “will carefully go through all the submissions, narrowing it down to the cars that will compete” for trophies.
Winning Best of Show this year was a 1938 Delage D8-120 De Villars Roadster (shown above), while the People’s Choice award went to a 1974 Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 Colonnade Sun Coupe.
