Which Brands Satisfy Most? Consumer Reports Has Best To Worst

“Consumer Reports” is out with its annual list of vehicle manufacturers whose products owners most adore. Results of the magazine’s annual owner satisfaction survey for 2024 showed EV builder Rivian perched atop the list with Infiniti mired at the bottom.

An impressive 86 percent of Rivian owners said they would buy a model from the brand again.

The magazine said, “The average brand satisfaction based on survey responses from Consumer Reports members can guide shoppers to make more informed choices when deciding which new cars to consider.”

Rounding out the Top 10 list for 2024 were Mini, BMW, Porsche, Tesla, Genesis, Lexus, Subaru, Ram and Honda. Tesla was tops in 2023. Mini rose to the runner-up spot from 11th place in 2023.

“Consumer Reports” members judged vehicles on such areas as comfort, driving, storage, usability and ownership cost. Infiniti came in 29th and last place with only 43 percent of owners saying they’d buy another one.

“Consumer Reports” has more details, including the full ranking and data on specific categories in a story on its website.
