CHESHIRE, CT – The 2024 car show season will have a big-ticket finale in October with the staging of the New England Concours d’Elegance at the Farmington Polo Club. It’s described as “a sophisticated car show benefitting those in need.” It will begin at 11 a.m. on Oct. 27 at 162 Town Farm Road in Farmington, CT.
Announced Thursday, the show will have a a $250 entry fee for participants and $25 general admission price for spectators. It is being staged by the non-profit Hometown Foundation, which will benefit from the event, in conjunction with Hemmings Classic Car.
The New England Concours d’Elegance “will feature an array of exclusive car classes, with 10 categoris, each showcasing 10 vehicles.” Classes will include Ferrari, Jaguar and more, and the event will present 13 awards, including Best in Show.
An announcement for the show also promised displays of hypercars, vintage tractors and drag race cars. There will also be food trucks and a pet rescue exhibition.
The addition of the New England Concours d’Elegance to the car show calendar brings the total number of cars show across Connecticut in 2024 to roughly 330. That figure doesn’t include regularly scheduled cruises and cars and coffee-type events.
