Gallery: AMCs at the Drive-In – August 22, 2026

SOUTHINGTON, CT – A cloudy morning have hurt the turnout a bit but there were still some exquisite models at the AMCs at the Drive-In car show at the Southington Drive-In on Saturday. The event is staged annually by the Connecticut chapter of the American Motors Owners Association.

The gathering was open to AMC, Rambler, Jeep, Hudson, Nash and pre-1988 Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth (and presumably DeSoto) offerings. There appeared to be more AMX and Javelin models as well as Pacers, Spirits and Eagles than in years past.

RIDE-CT spent a couple of hours admiring the entries and snapping photos and has assembled this gallery of some of the more colorful cars…
