RIDE-CT – Classic Cars Celebrating Classic Cars in Connecticut
KENT, CT – Unless you see them gathered together at a show, it’s hard to recall just how many auto brands are and were produced in Britain. The inaugural British Wheels on the Green car show on Sunday, staged by The Jaguar Club of Southern New England at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association Museum, provided a colorful reminder.
Beside Jaguar, MG and Land Rover models, there were Sunbeam, Triumph, Lotus, Mini and Morgan entries. There was even a Riley. Most eye-catching was a 1964 Aston Martin DB5, best known for being featured in the James Bond movie franchise.
