Gallery: Cruise on the Connecticut River – June 13, 2026

MIDDLETOWN, CT – The Route 66 Cruisers staged its Cruise on the Connecticut River on Saturday afternoon and drew some nice looking cars and trucks. It’s not often that spectators get to see a Sonnet sports car but there was a nice red 1969 2V4 version. A 1959 Chevrolet Apache 32 pickup truck with a fauxtina exterior also stood out among the muscle cars, Corvettes and Mustangs.

RIDE-CT particularly enjoyed the grassy setting on west bank of the Connecticut River with the Arrigoni Bridge in the background. Here’s a modest gallery from the show…
