Gallery: Torrington Lions Club Car Show – May 29, 2026

TORRINGTON, CT – A cloudy sky and a few late afternoon sprinklers did not deter classic car owners from congregating on Main Street on Friday evening. There was an impressive turnout of rarely-seen models and the 18th annual Torrington Lions Club Car Show attracted what was, at times, an elbow-to-elbow crowd of spectators, too.

There were automotive treats galore from an brilliant red 1959 Cadillac, a white 2015 BMW I8 hybrid sports car and a curvaceous blue 1954 Kaiser Manhattan. From hot rods and lifted pickup trucks to models from the early days of motoring and, not far away, even a patriotically painted locomotive from the Naugatuck Railroad, the show was far beyond run of the mill.
