Gallery: Cruisin’ with the Clauses – June 25, 2026

HARWINTON, CT – The third annual Cruisin’ with the Clauses (as in Santa and Mrs. Claus) car show was held Thursday evening at the athletic fields behind Town Hall. A lot of Harwinton residents showed up as did car owners from nearby towns. The best represented model had to be the Chevrolet Corvette – both old and current versions – but there were also several Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros.

RIDE-CT got the low-down on a early 1980s Mercedes-Benz 300SD sedan (shown below driving in) with well over 200,000 miles on the odometer. The owner from Avon said he recently bought it for only $800 after spotting it on Facebook Marketplace. A nice acquisition.
