Gallery: Plainville Day Car Show – October 10, 2026

PLAINVILLE, CT – With $50 helicopter rides as a lure, the Plainville Day Car Show at Robertson Airport drew a crowd of classic car and truck owners on Saturday, so many in fact that lots got turned away due to the declared capacity of the show ground and safety concerns. That caused much irritation those who failed to make it inside the gates and resulted in the spectator parking lot dotted with show cars that could have easily fit inside with better planning and a better layout.

While the show ground did feature colorful and noteworthy models, the closure of the gates was the primary topic of conversation and complaint. Here’s a photo gallery from the show…
